Why not visit the historical market town of Skipton or venture even further into the dales to Masham and visit the Blacksheep brewery. Alternatively you can always stay in the cosy bar with an open fire enjoying a pint of Blacksheep. Why bother with the long drive? Stay local and visit Windermere and take the lake cruises which are a must, and not forgetting all the boutique shops on offer.
