Conferences & Events at Crooklands
The Crooklands has been host to many events throughout its history, but we never tire of planning the perfect event.
Our two function rooms are located above the Inn in the older part of the property with views across to the Lancaster Canal.
The Hayloft suite offers a vaulted ceiling, with exposed beams and flooring built for dancing! whilst the adjoining Westmorland suite offers space for larger groups. Both can accommodate up to 60 guests, giving an overall capacity of 120.
Sold separately or as one suite, with an interconnecting welcome foyer, you can choose how you use each space to suit your occasion.
For smaller gatherings, our Cumbrian suite can accommodate up to 40 people. With a separate outside entrance, it’s the perfect space for a birthday party, family celebration, networking lunch or executive dinner.
With easy access from Kendal and the M6, plenty of complimentary car parking, wi-fi connection and 31 bedrooms for those needing to stay overnight, Crooklands is the perfect venue for whatever you’re hosting and celebrating.
Conference & Meeting Rooms
Whether you need a one-to-one meeting venue or are organising a larger conference, our three suites are spacious and flexible offering registration, break out and working lunch options. Room hire is available for one, two and three session blocks. We also have a range of equipment available, so you don’t have to bring the office with you.
Celebrations
Our Hayloft and Westmorland suites are perfect for a private celebration with plenty of space for adults and children to enjoy a celebratory afternoon. We can help with decorations, balloons and entertainers to keep the kids occupied and menu options to suit your tastes and budget.
Funerals
We understand this is a difficult event to organise, so our experienced team can guide you through the planning, considering every eventuality, so you can concentrate on hosting your family and friends.
We can communicate through your chosen funeral director, or offer a bespoke service offering through an appointment with our team, whichever suits you.
We don’t do packages
Every event is different and we prefer to offer you the freedom to host the celebration you want. We’ve listed a few sample menus, to give you an idea of what’s possible, but if you want to rip these up and start with a blank page, that’s fine too.
Room hire is complimentary for private events of more than 25 guests and our planners will work with you to plan a successful event that ticks all the boxes as well as your budget.
